Hi folks
I received a call from Newstalk570 who stated they are cancelling the Hidden Valley discussion because they "are going to take the show into a new direction."
Make of that what you will. 
None the less, I've been contacted by a freelance writer by the name of Laura LaRocca who is working on a story for Openfile Waterloo (http://waterloo.openfile.ca/) about the proposed Melancthon Quarry and the potential effects on the Waterloo region. She saw some of my work online and wants to do an interview. We're working on that this week.
I've also been picked to be a speaker for Ignite Waterloo. Made the cut. Topic: Aggregates and the Waterloo Moraine. This even will take place at Whistle Bear, 6:30 on June 16th. Admission is $5. for more info on Ignite, visit here: http://www.ignitewaterloo.ca/
