Message sent on behalf of Steve Hounsell, Chair of
Ontario’s Biodiversity Strategy Renewal Team
Subject: Update on
Reviewing and Renewing Ontario ’s
Biodiversity Strategy
As you know, the Ontario Biodiversity Council (OBC)
has been leading efforts to renew Ontario ’s
Biodiversity Strategy. You are receiving this email because this past
November at the AD Latornell Conservation Symposium you visited the
Biodiversity Café, completed our online survey, and submitted your email
addresses to learn more about the renewal process. Thank you for your
input and interest.
Earlier this year,
Ontario ’s Biodiversity Council invited
you to review our online workbook and contribute your ideas and comments.
Thank you to all that took the time to do this, your comments and reviews have
helped shape the draft into what it is today. Now Council invites you to
see how your comments, as well as those of many others, have influenced the revised
draft Strategy which as of yesterday, is now available for public review on the
OBC
Renewal Site.
We encourage you to submit any comments on this draft
by June 1, 2011.
Thank you in advance for adding your voice to the
renewal process. Your involvement will help guide biodiversity
conservation in Ontario
for decades to come.
