THE VOTE OF NON CONFIDENCE
The votes were 156 vs 145 :The non confidence vote has CARRIED. The PM may ask
the Gov. General for the date as soon as tonight.
Both the NDP and the Liberals and Green Party have all supported establishing a
National Water Strategy. The Conservatives promised one in their throne speech
previously and never allocated funds to make it happen yet. GREN could ask our
candiates about this issue. GREN should draft a list of issues we would like to
see of our electoral candidates. Never too late to plan those questions. Good
topic for the next GREN meeting perhaps.
