Thanks, Kevin.  I filled it in.  Where the survey asks about where I have got my information about transit issues, I checked "other" and wrote "The best information I got was from a public address by UW transportation planning professor Jeff Cosello at a meeting hosted by the Grand River Environmental Network".  Might as well put ourselves on the map!

Hi folks,

It appears that The Record has teamed up with Metroline Research to do a fairly detailed survey on Rapid Transit and people's opinions.  We should make sure that a strong pro-transit voice is heard and so that we don't end up with nothing but urban sprawl, paved-over greenspace, and traffic congestion in the future.

If we want a sustainable, environmentally-concious, liveable, and thriving community we need to ensure that we have a strong public transit system including local and frequent bus routes, an LRT - light rail transit backbone, GO Trains and other new intercity connections, etc.

Speak up and make sure we get the world-class community and infrastructure we need to succeed in the future:

The survey is pretty simple and should only take about 5 minutes to complete.
