Hi folks
 
Jefferson Salamander season is upon us. Easiest way to find is via roadkills. If you spot a dead one, put in a ziplock bag and freeze it. It can be tested for DNA at the U of Guelph to confirm if it is a pure breed or hybrid. Prof. Jim Bogart is the expert on this.
If you find a live one, don't move it or touch.
