[All] Waterloo Region Population Hits 550,000 this Year

GREN folks,

Proof as to why we need the LRT as soon as possible to ensure that our community is as liveable and sustainable as possible.  This year alone they are predicting almost 10,000 new residents (a town as large as Collingwood moving into the Region), thousands of additional cars on our roads, and more than 3,000+ new households in Waterloo Region as growth continues and we continue to achieve the Places to Grow targets.  

This is all just for this year - 2011, next year it happens again, and again the following year, and even more again...
