Yes, they seem very organized.
fyi - CAUSE has written a great review of why an EA is required. I handed it out to City Council last night. You can download it at http://66.212.167.146/MelancthonMegaQuarry/pdf/CAUSE_20-Apr-2011.pdf (with further resources available at http://66.212.167.146/MelancthonMegaQuarry).
Another great source of information is the online petition: http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/megaquarry. Just look in the right hand column.

Subject: [All] Should GREN join C.A.U.S.E. ?
Hi folks
I came across an umbrella called C.A.U.S.E,
the Citizens Alliance for Sustainable Environment. Their website is here: http://www.citizensalliance.ca/Cause-proposal.htmlThey have an excellent website regarding the Highland Quarry proposal that is simple, clear with great visual appeal. NDACT is already a member.
I highly encourage GREN members to view the founders of this group. They are made up of Lawyers, business executives, directors of various groups. Outstanding expertise:http://www.citizensalliance.ca/PDFS/About%20Us.pdf
I wanted to relay this info to GREN members to see if they'd like to formally become a part of this group. By lending our logo to the membership it shows greater public support over a larger demographic sending the important message that this is a Watershed wide concern.
Just wanted to relay for GREN's consideration. Contact info is info at citizensalliance.ca
