[All] Region OMB hearing: June 24

Hi everyone
Here's a date to mark on the calendar: June 24 at 10am.  That is the day there will be an Ontario Municipal Board hearing regarding the Region of Waterloo's Official Plan. (The pre-hearing already took place last May) This hearing regards various groups who oppose the establishment of the protected country side line as well as the Region vs. the Province over Aggregate issues. 
This event takes place at Waterloo City Hall in Council Chambers at 100 Regina Street South Waterloo ON. Witnesses are always appreciated at these events.

By the way, found an interesting bit of info regarding OMB chair Susan DeAvellar Schiller. This lady has chaired the OMB process for the West Side Lands and the Owen property. As it turns out she was a "Senior Consultant" for IBI Group. Planning and Engineering Initiatives Limited aka PEIL was aquired by the IBI group and have strong development interests in our area. I hope she won't be a chair during this process. I'd rather not see any conflict of interest issues show up.  Details can be seen here at:
