Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the long list of email addresses I just wanted to cover off as many people as possible. This weekend is the First Square2 Square closing of King Street from Kitchener city Hall to Waterloo Square. I am excited to be part of this event as the two councillors one from Waterloo and another from Kitchener have been working very hard to organize this event.
I am encouraging all of you to come out and enjoy the day. Walk King St, cycle, scooter, bring the stroller whatever you want and take to the street! The event starts off at 11am and goes to 3pm. We want to get 10,000 people on the street!
If any of you are interested in volunteering a couple of hours we could also use a few extra people. It would not be for the whole time as we want everyone to enjoy the day in one way or another. The Ribfest will also be going on at Victoria Park so it is a full day of activities.
I look forward to seeing many of you on Sunday July 17!
