Dear Grenlings,

Sadly, Generation X Videos is closing down. Younger folk seem to have found more attractive ways to access video and film material than going to video rental stores and patronage has been declining.

The entire collection of some 25,000 titles is on sale at reasonable prices. They have an excellent section of documentaries, many of them on environmental themes, alternative political and social perspectives, and other progressive topics. If you could make use of such excellent material, this is a unique opportunity for you to augment your library. It's a particularly good prospect for activists and educators.

I'll miss Generation X - there is nothing else like it , even in much bigger cities. I don't think I've ever felt sadder at the closure of a business. I remember when the reactionary Harris government came in and the Gen X proprietor started a website called BAH! (Business Against Harris). I like that kind of spirit.
