Dear ETC Group (http://www.etcgroup.org/),
You probably know about this already, but just in case ... . The big
question is, "What more can we do?" I have 2 suggestions:
1. Start a new & more powerful web-based campaign against Monsanto (&
other GMO companies, GMO university researchers, ...) using the new
Blitz Bazar (http://www.changemakers.com/wemedia/entries/blitz-bazaar-everybody-changemaker
) that is favoured by Stanford U's Sustainable Innovation Center:
"Typical to Stanford, cutting-edge web-based campaign-management
software provided by Blitz Bazaar is powering the challenge. This new
social movement web platform allows students and other non-
professionals to easily start and run campaigns. The founder, Lloyd
Nimetz, a Stanford alumnus himself said, 'Blitz Bazaar is very proud
to be the Internet-platform powering Social-M. Campaigning is at a
watershed moment as organizers start to make full use of the social
Web. It used to be very hard for the well-intentioned to change the
world, but with the help of new web-tools like Blitz Bazaar, it's now
- as these Stanford student changemakers are demonstrating - much
easier.'"

2. So as to continuously inform above effort -- & create another way
to participate -- set up an included WIKI that will enable continuous
knowledge & idea development involving GMO's and other Sustainable
Innovation concerns. A WIKI ebook is "WIKI for Dummies" (http://www.amazon.com/Wikis-For-Dummies
®-ebook/dp/B000WPXTHY). WIKI software includes, Wikispaces (http://www.wikispaces.com/
)
Let's get the lead out on these major Sustainable Innovation issues
before tragic tipping points -- so accelerate, intensify, extend, ... !
Power to Appropriate Living Systems.
Godspeed,
Robert M
PS: The above suggests some new years resolution possibilities for all
of us.
