Kim    Thanks for updating us.   Go for it!   Does this mean that the Gravel
Pit destructive forces will NOT be able to operate there????  I sure hope
so.  Can't be there this time to support  the "Bums in Seats"  group  but
will pray that  your group wins  hands down!!!

You've all worked very hard and  this has been a very worthwhile fight.

The final vote on the proposal to designate the area around the covered
bridge as a cultural heritage landscape is before Woolwich township this
week. If successful, this proposal may be able to preserve the agricultural
character of the area for years to come. The local area is currently under
significant development pressure.

For more than 130th years West Montrose has remained an iconic place to live

The Cultural Heritage Landscape proposal in front of the Woolwich Council
may change the shape of our community.

 

We believe it is in your best interest to attend the meeting. The Township
has work hard to ensure the CHL will be flexible for our residents. Your
support is needed.

 

The CHL can provide protection for the preservation of our historic
surroundings and our property values.

13th @ 6PM.
