1. Obama states clearly after meeting with Harper that he will veto any attempts to rush the approval of the Keystone pipeline.

2. The six members of the Canadian Youth Delegation stood as Kent began his speech and turned their backs, revealing the message “Turn Your back on Canada” on their T-shirts.The crowd gave them an Ovation before they were escorted out and their passes were confiscated.

4. 5. On Friday, chief negotiator Elmer Derrick and Enbridge jointly announced a deal saying the Gitxsan hereditary chiefs backed the project. But several chiefs have now come forward, saying the deal was not sanctioned by the Gitxsan people and traditional protocols were not followed by the negotiators.

6. Newly filed documents say Shell Canada's environmental study of its proposed oilsands expansion should be rejected because it is woefully out of date and lowballs probable industrial development by a factor of 12.
