Dear All Gren Members,

My apologies if you receive this email twice. As many of you may know,
the MEI is asking for public input to update its Long-Term Energy
Plan. This plan is critical because it will provide the basis for a
new Supply Mix Directive to the Ontario Power Authority whose task it
will be to develop a new Integrated Power System Plan based on the
Directive.

Many of you are savvy with respect to the debates that have been
ongoing about Ontario's investment in nuclear energy as opposed to
renewables. And many of you are also up to date about the Green Energy
Act and its implications...

Well, the MEI has just issued a survey, which can be found online
here: http://www.mei.gov.on.ca/en/energy/
This survey asks nine questions about what energy sources should
become part of the new Supply Mix Directive. Please take the time to
answer the questions. WE need as many people as possible to respond
positively about renewable sources, distributed energy, and to
discourage nuclear. This is our only input opportunity at this stage!!!

Best wishes,
Tanya
