[All] Santa Claus parade

Hi Everyone!

Now that the election is over and Hallowe'en 2010 will soon be history,
let's think KW Santa Claus parade again!  I need to get in the application
and cheque ASAP (uh, tomorrow actually, but I was able to extend that
another week). Dandelion Festival bank account has dried up, so I'd
appreciate monetary donations to cover the fee of $197.75. 

 

Details:

Saturday  November 20, 2010 

Starts King @ University at 10:00 a.m. but we need to be there by about 9:30
a.m.

 

A huge thank you to Brent Curry from www.bikeforest.com who is, once again,
generously letting us use his bikes! If you want to ride one of Brent's
bikes, you need to meet at his place on Homewood and then we'll ride the
Iron Horse to the parade start. We'll be switching bikes throughout the
parade to give everyone a chance to try them. You can also ride your own.
Dress up in red and green and bells and antlers, cover a back pack with
festive holiday material to look like a Santa Sack - use your imagination,
but we have been told NOT to dress like Santa. Elves are fine. 8-)

 

We also need a few people to carry our TreeHuggers of Waterloo banner at the
front of our "float". 

 

Please confirm with me if you'll be riding so I get an idea of numbers  and
if you would like to carry the banner, and where you can send money for our
registration fee:

Here's hoping for good weather and no rain! Spread the word and share this
