R

LRT manufacturing partners, Kinkisharyo-Mitsui (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kinkisharyo-Mitsui
), seem to have more pluses than the rest by far including tailor-
suited vehicle design (I especially like Seattle's) and local assembly
(as I have previously suggested we aspire to using the old Budd plant
on Homer Watson). No matter who we choose, perhaps the UofW's
Transportation Systems Research Group (http://www.civil.uwaterloo.ca/transportation/
) could be involved in some collaborative manner such as in the
selection of very innovative LRT system design features?
