There are some nuances to the point that atrazine is used on soy.
The short answer is that atrazine is not used on soy.
The long answer is that the report Loiusette is quoting was written 10+
years ago. The product, now basically discontinued in favour of better
herbicides,, was from the family of "triazines".
atrazine---corn
cyanzine---corn (discontiued)
metribuzine---soy(discontinued)
simazine--tree nurseries
