[All] Fluorosilicates: How much taxpayer money is wasted?

Regarding the addition of fluorosilicates used in artificial water
fluoridation: (this is in a 1-page brochure attached) which are classified
as Hazardous Waste and contain many toxic substances, including various
fluoride compounds. This is also attached as a .pdf file.

1% of the treated water produced by water utilities is actually consumed.
The rest goes on lawns, in washing machines, and down toilets and drains.”

Each dollar ($1) a city spends on this toxic waste for water fluoridation
provides a $10 subsidy to Cargill and Archer Daniels Midland - the
corporations who manufacture and sell these chemicals.

 *Who Benefits?*

Every* $100 taxpayers money spent* on fluoridation ($4/person for 25 years)
generates *$500 in extra income for dentists *treating the resulting dental
fluorosis.

*Who Benefits?*

*$7,000/ton *polluting companies must pay for safe disposal of this
Hazardous Waste (Dr. Bill Hirzy US EPA Chemist)

*$1,500/ton** *polluting companies receive from cities


 *$10 Million Gamble*

In 2009 Toronto’s fluoridation policy added about 1 million kilograms of
phosphate fertilizer waste in treated sewage to Lake Ontario and
simultaneously undermined local sustainable food production by $10 million.
