Hi LU and ALL    I sent this disgusting    shocking    fearsome info out
about 4-5 wks ago.  Thanks for doing it again Lulu, ,this contaminates the
water.  No wonder there's so much disease  and mental problems with all the
poisonous things going itnpo our bodies with the full co operastion and
knowledge of the people we PAY to look after us.    Ginny

 

Next Monday Kit.  Council will vote , at Carl Zehrs encouraging and pushing
to NOT HONOUR THE COUNTRY SIDE LINE THAT THE REGION NEEDS PROTECTED IN THE
HIGH WATER RECHARGE AREA  the triangular piece of land in Kit.'s south west
corner .   Region needs that bfor community wells.  I'll be at Council next
Mon. nite.   Gazzola is the only one saying don't do this.  Mayor and
council have a MORAL and fiscal obligation to do what's best for the
majority  and the future of this community.   It's  wrong   wrong   wrong.

 Kit. is already 40% below tree coverage needed and I've been told that we
have 5000 Ash trees in jeopardy now with the ash beetle which is already
around us in Hamilton   London   and may already be here but if not ,it's
coming.  G.

Hi folks. Shocking stuff for you today.

 

Gasland

Natural gas is currently being extracted currently in Lake Erie and our
surrounding watersheds and the movie Gaslands explores the impacts of
fracking on municipal water supplies and public health. Human illnesses and
flamable water is coming from the taps in multiple locations and there is
contamination of aquifer systems taking place by a multitude of toxic
compounds required for natural gas extraction.

 

I encourage everyone to visit the official website of the movie to explore

I've already contacted the owner of the Princess/Princess Twin Cinema to get
this film in and I've offered to give a quick prefilm lecture on the matter,
5-10 min. just to let people know that gas extraction is already taking
place in our watershed and under Erie, that the MNR is both the promotor and
regulator of crown land resources. That we need to secure legislation to
protect our water supplies from fracking.

This newly released UN report states that over 50% of our crops are being
used to feed animals.  Agricultural production accounts for a staggering 70%
of the global freshwater consumption, 38% of the total land use, and 14% of
