Hello

I just got off the phone with the MNR who asked me if they could DELAY submitting my freedom of request for the supporting documents for the SAROS report stating that if they could secure an earlier date of release then there would be no need to process my request.

I declined their offer, I said I wish for them to submit my request and should the data be posted on line, I will withdraw the FOI request accordingly.

They asked me what date would be more reasonable to release the report. I stated mid July would be the latest. We need time to reasonably review the documents in order to understand the MNR's position in regards to aggregates, we need time to formulate our policy revisions for the PPS and we need time to consult with other groups. August 1st is far too late to facilitate a reasonable time for that.

The agreed they will submitted my form for processing today.
