Thank you for your email.  I understand that the update to the Provincial Policy Statement is expected to take approximately 2 years and that there will be several opportunities for public input throughout the process. At this point MMAH is only looking to identify key issues, the analysis and development of policy will be ongoing for some time.
 
If you would like further information on the overall process, Ken Peterson at MMAH is the lead Director.  I will also have staff working on this multi-ministry project to ensure that environmental considerations are incorporated.
