Community, Environment, and Justice Research Group (CEJRG), based out of the Centre for Community Research Learning and Action (CCRLA) at Wilfrid Laurier University, is composed of faculty, students, and community members with a common interest in creating a just and environmentally sustainable local and global community. Our mission is to engage with the intersections of environment, community, and justice through research and collaboration. We want to be a centre of excellence that is a resource to the community and put our research into the service of local efforts engaged in pro-environmental change. In order to introduce our ideas to you and hear your ideas about how this could work, we are pleased to invite you to attend a community forum meeting:
When: Wednesday, January 20th; 7pm-9pm
Where: CCRLA (232 King St, Room 214)
At this meeting, we hope to learn together:
· What kind of resource could CEJRG be for the community?
· What role could our community partners play in CEJRG?
· How to best create interactions between CEJRG and our community partners.
Please forward this invitation to all the people or organizations that you know may be interested in this meeting
Sincerely,
Manuel Riemer (Director); Livia Dittmer (Co-Director), and the CEJRG team.
