Hi folks
 
If your interested in participating in the Great Canadian Back Yard bird count but are not familiar with specific breeds in your area, no problem. The ROM established handy online quick field guide specific by Region/County. Just visit this link: http://www.rom.on.ca/ontario/fieldguides.php 
 
Click on your county then click on"Field Guide". It's an online bird guide with lots of photos and sounds of the birds most common in your area all in alphabetical order. It's a great quick reference.
For the Back Yard Bird count simply tallying the birds of each species and fill out an on line checklist. The count begins tomorrow. Visit here for details:
