Hi folks

Construction began on the world’s largest production site for maglev wind turbines in central China on November 5, 2007. It's a turbine that uses magnetic energy to reduce resistance and the unique design captures the wind no matter what angle it blows. This is a major project costing 53 million.

1 large Meglev Wind turbine requires less than 100 acres = more energy than 1000 standing wind turbines requiring 64,000 acres. 1 large Maglev wind turbine = one gigawatt of power for 750,000 homes.  Check out the details here. It's pretty amazing.
