Gravel Watch Ontario has released a

Review of Golder SAROS Paper 5 On Reserves of Aggregates in
Ontario

    (SAROS is: State of the Aggregate Resource, Ontario Study).




The Executive Summary of the Review states:



Gravel Watch feels that some of the data and conclusions
of the Golder Paper must be viewed with skepticism, due to
inaccessibility to the underlying data and due to extensive narrowing
of the focus of the research.  We urge MNR to proceed to develop the
“strategic aggregate roadmap” for aggregates that was described and
recommended by the SAROS Aggregate Resource Advisory Committee to the
Ministry of Natural Resources.
