Hi GRENers,

I've had an idea for a project for awhile now. Please let me know if anyone
else wants to work on this. I want to apply for the Kitchener grant (below)
and see if there are any comparable Waterloo/Cambridge funds to add to the
mix.

Documentary-Dinner-Debate for our Environment

Run a series of environmental films that are controversial, eat
Local/Organic/Seasonal meal at 6-person tables where everyone's name was
randomly pulled out of a hat so you're "forced" to sit with people you
possibly don't know and discuss the issues in the film AND/OR bring in
after-dinner debaters to take opposing sides, present their case - something
like the Debaters on CBC Radio - and then have everyone laugh and vote and
have a good time. Something like that.
