We invite you to join us at Eco-Showcase 2010 on Saturday, April 24 at
Kitchener City Hall.  

 

This year we invite you to be inspired by success stories from three home
and business owners who currently enjoy solar and other green technologies.
These speakers are: Tim Barrie of Barrie's Asparagus Farm; David MacKay,
resident of UpTown Waterloo; and Rolf Thiessen, who lives in the Waterloo
Region Green Home.  This second annual Eco-Showcase is organized by the
Residential Energy Efficiency Project (REEP) and the University of Waterloo,
Faculty of Environment.

 

Leo Tasca, Manager of the Renewable Energy Unit, Ontario Ministry of Energy
and Infrastructure is one of our highlights this year.  Leo will explore the
Green Energy Act, the microFIT program and how home and business owners can
benefit from today's renewable energy opportunities.
