Hi Susan,
Congratulations on the writing of your “great Canadian novel” -- this
is a truly wonderful accomplishment hidden from most of us until now!
I really like the very unique plot as you briefly describe it -- the
presence of good-acting alien "gods" always add to the interest level:
"The ideological conflicts between environmentalists and a handful of
corporate demagogues have become impossible to resolve, driving both
camps underground.
But The Vital Few, awaiting salvation in their secret fortress, have
seriously underestimated the power and resilience of HUGS. The Gaia-
loving Humane Urbane Guerilla Society are definitely not just another
“pissant little activist group”.
Humanity’s fate, however, may be decided by a mysterious alien
culture with a vested interest in the outcome.
While the “gods” are secretly at work, 2080 follows the lives of
several “mere mortals” as they become enmeshed in the unfolding drama."
I look forward to reading your book. What great dedication you must
have had to keep at it over 10 years. I wish you great success in this
new venture.
Best wishes,
Robert
PS: For plot ideas for your next book, you might want to consider
Michael Moore's latest movie and the quasi-realistic books of
David Icke.
