[All] FW: a picture for you

Guelph ..217 gathered from the amphibian kill on Laird Rd .Monday night.. we took them all to city hall Tuesday to re-iterate our request to have the road closed! and put all 217 of them outside on the bench and waited for someone to come down and see them from any department.. called the media and all departments.. no one came! we had the Mercury there. .. 45 minutes later a good friend of mine came out .. we explained that we were being stonewalled.. he went back in and spoke with someone and lo and behold... the CAO came out and closed the road ... we are off out there tonight to see if it holds. !and today's Mercury has a big article.. and a great cover of a green frog.. 
Much less carnage last night.
 Laird Rd just happens to go through the middle of the Hanlon Creek Business Park. 
My compost bins are now very enriched.

Dear All, 

Last night on Laird Rd. FYI. 
Hundreds more  not identifiable as more than smushed parts. 730-930pm. 
It would be wonderful if we could have the road temporarily blocked at each end... during these warm humid nights of migration of a diminishing species.
