On Wednesday, October 28th at 7pm, the Kitchener-Waterloo Green Party will be hosting a film night at Princess Cinema (6 Princess St. W, Waterloo) about a little-known story of an auto and oil industry campaign, led by General Motors, to bury and dismantle streetcar lines in America and Canada. It features a section regarding the dismantling of streetcars in Waterloo Region.

Afterwards people are welcome to A Whole Lot-A Gelata (120 King St. S, Waterloo). People wearing a Green Party button will get $2 off their Gelato for the night!!

KW Green Party representative, Cathy MacLellan, will be on hand and we will also hear from Paul Langan, an elocutionist and passenger rail advocate, who will talk about the Region of Waterloo's proposed Light Rail and Rapid Bus System.
