Hello everyone
I am very relieved to state that I have received an email from the City of Waterloo's Tim Anderson, the General Manager of Public Works who stated via email:
"Specifically as it relates to Wideman Road the City of Waterloo is going to continue to work with the GRCA and MNR to investigate migration zones along this road section. Further research will indicate what steps should be taken to mitigate this occurrence in future."
I would like to sincerely thank the City of Waterloo Staff, Council members, the GRCA and the MNR for committing to investigate the migration route of amphibians along this roadway.
In the past, when I raised concerns about Jeffersons with other citizens regarding Doon South, Larry Masseo of Activa Holdings publicly accused us of "planting" salamanders as noted in the KW record article here:

Although, in my view, this statement was said to discredit our efforts, in truth I've always feared actually finding something on my own for fear that people would not believe me. The only tool I had to work with for years was a digital camera.
I am sincerely thankful that there will be bona fide credible experts looking at the amphibians along this area. It's a great relief.
Thank you all kindly for your time.
